Even more from the salvage shop!

Had a smashing day yesterday at yard sales and estate sales. Then went to a salvage store in Ballard, finding treasure. The green planter is Hull pottery on top of a drawer from the salvage store. I got 4 of those drawers with the original tiny porcelain knobs. I adore draft horses so this small vintage photo was a great find. 

Photo Ornaments

I have such a lovely collection of vintage photos. This David Bowie photo is from 1990, scarcely "vintage", but he is so iconic I thought making him into a small ornament would be a great way for people to bring a little Bowie into their homes. Not just for Christmas, I think Bowie is appropriate year round.

I'm going to experiment with some of my older, sepia photos.

New Year, New Projects

Happy New Year everyone!

With the new year I am trying a new medium, fabric. I have heaps of vintage fabric scraps and remnants to play with. I will be transferring some of my vintage photos and text directly to fabrics.
